Bidra med feedbackHumble little restaurant with great French cuisine. Duck Liver Foie Gras was fabulous. Raw Beef Tartare was excellent. All four main dishes are creative and fantastic Corn Cake with Broccolini, Beef Bourgogne, Puff Shrimp, Duck Breast. The price is very reasonable.
A hidden gem. It was our first time at Le Sen. We were in search of traditional French food and we found a great place. Service was excellent, food was wonderful. We had a five course meal at a reasonable price. We prefer the front of the restaurant, the back seemed to be for larger groups and a bit more noisy. We had a wonderful experience and we are looking forward to bring our friends and try other menu items.
We had a delightful early evening. Received a window seat, as requested. Split the escargot. It was yummy but the snails were small in size. My husband had the pan roasted duck breast with baqarade sauce. The breast was perfectly cooked and tender. The sauce was to die for. Could have licked the plate if we were home alone! Sauteed mussels in a cream and garlic french fries were excellent. Connor was or waiter and he Friendly and efficient.
Great food: subtle sublime flavors. While the menu has minimal vegetarian options, I was dining with regular patrons so the chef was very accommodating! Would love to see French restaurants carry more vegetarian options on their regular menus!
For a special birthday, I took my husband to La Sen. We enjoyed the small, intimate space and looked forward to a fabulous French meal. We were not disappointed. They brought warm bread with a yummy dipping sauce to start. We selected a glass of Sancerre with our meal, which was excellent. Next we chose fried calamari which was perfectly prepared. We split a lovely salad of Roquefort cheese, pistachios, slivers of green apples atop mixed greens, tossed with champagne vinaigrette dressing. Excellent! My husband ordered beef bourguignon and I chose Coq au vin for our main courses. Both were tender, sauce was delicious and vegetables cooked perfectly, not overdone. Dessert was to die for flourless chocolate cake! An Exceptional and memorable meal!
