Broderick Roadhouse - Walnut Creek

I ordered the Johnny Cash-Burger, who was big and could feed a small Russian army on him. I've upgraded to the garlic fries that were a good decision. Then I thought the addition on a Nutty Buddy Shake would trigger the massive calorie intake and provide a very tasty stomach pain. I was right. The meal was not disappointed!

Service was very good and attentive. Internal or external seats are available. The waffle is very light and the Bourbonsirup was delicious. It would be nice to have strawberries or something on it or on the side. The potatoes were a bit salty, but the subtle taste of Rosemary was beautiful. I liked the flavors in the sausage patty, as it was something different than others I had. Even in the afternoons and evenings it is fun to hang out with friends and knock back a few beers at the bar.

I really wanted to love this place, the Vibes are immaculate and it's super sweet, they even have an outdoor dining area plus a full bar. The drinks are great, but the food leaves something to be desired. I got the cookies and Gravy and Biscuit was dry and the engraving was almost translucent. I also tried the el charro Burger and that was better, but a little dry. I would definitely come back for the vibes and service maybe not so much for the food.

If your family enjoys cheeseburgers, this is the place for you. Their menu mostly consists of burgers and sandwiches. While not the best place for burgers, they are decent here.

My wife and I decided to try this restaurant for dinner for the first time after our friend's wedding. I ordered the vegan cheese steak (although it was more like a Chopped cheese) and she had the tree hugger burger. Both dishes were delicious, especially the tree hugger burger which was made with a house-made veggie patty. The outdoor seating was lovely and our server was very friendly. We will definitely be returning to this restaurant.
