Walloon Lake Inn

This was our 2nd year to dine with friends at Walloon Lake Inn. The food remains amazing and delicious. We had Natilie as our server and she is beyond exceptional! She was very helpful with All in recommending the perfect dish and drink for each of us. We were able to have a fun and enjoyable evening with great friends because of Natilie and her ambience! Thank You Natilie !

The atmosphere and setting outside was very special and beautiful. We had a nice warm night to enjoy our outdoor dining. All of our food was delicious Whitefish and the Seafood Risotto. I was just a little disappointed with the seafood risotto based on the price $55) relative to the 2 small scallops and 3 shrimp that were included. The whitefish $39) was fantastic with a very generous portion. A great place for a special occasion dinner!

Just an all around incredible experience! Drinks, food, experience all outstanding. Burratta salad the best I have ever tasted. Truffle chicken carbonarra was something I would not normally order but I will probably order again! This will be a regular stop when we drive up north from our home in Douglas.

Ryan our server was outstanding! We had a memorable evening, food was incredible and ambiance was so relaxing and enjoyable. The only thing we forgot was to have Ryan take a picture of us! See you next year

The Walloon Lake Inn is always a cut above other fine dining restaurants in northern Michigan. The staff are all exceptional from the host to the servers. The menu has a very wide offering. I'm particularly a fan of the calamari as a starter as well as the oysters. The whitefish preparation is also excellent with a nice panko coating. If you've got room, go for the carrot cake for dessert. The view of the lake is lovely and if it's warm enough to sit outside it's an added bonus.
