The Wooden Spoon - Wallkill

A few days ago a nice dinner with the family. The staff was attentive and the food was served quite quickly by the order. We got a beautiful, fresh basket of hot bread with some great olive oil to start. The appetizers were tasty, had the mini-meat balls, which were very delicate and tasteful, and a selection of other fried items. Had the New York Strip Steak, which was perfectly cooked and served sizzling on my plate. Overall great experience and would recommend a visit.

SAFE Review Service: was really good. We sat immediately and served welcome bread. The waitress was very attentive, although there were some moments when we were looking for her. But your colleagues have also kept an eye on each other and often checked whether we need something. The food came in a normal waiting period. Ambience: cozy and elegant, making it a homely atmosphere. A place where you can meet a nice family, but can also have a business meeting. Food: delicious. We have eaten here a few times and every time it was usually a pleasant experience. The only two dishes I did not like so far are the Grilled Sausage with Broccoli Rabe, which was too sour to taste and the Halibut that had no taste beyond the periphery. The White Truffle Pizza is something you have to try. The Pan Seared Scallops over Risotto was delicious. Experience: Overall a good experience. Definitely a place to hang with the family. It is ideal for a dinner to come together. Lunch is usually rushed, especially during a working week here you want to sit and enjoy your time.

The staff was incredibly attentive and able to treat all my specifications and requirements for my meal. I enjoyed their cleanliness and customer service and of course their food. We had mushroom risotto and salmon and white pizza and absolutely loved both. I'm coming back.

The first time here will not be my last! With a friend for lunch. Excellent food. I had a salad with grilled salmon that was so delicious! Fresh bread, so good. Service excellent. Good COVID protocols, all employees masked. They also deliver and have pickup available.
