Lefty's Bbq - Waldorf

This is definitely the best BBQ I have had on the East Coast! Everything was delicious! Chicken wings were awesome and juicy! The half smoked chicken was very favorable! The corn bread loaf was sweet; just the way I love my cornbread! And the smoke ribs were also awesome! You could taste the smoke flavor on everything greens, cabbage, ribs, and chicken!

Stopped in to pay for a work catered lunch. I have enjoyed and used them for luncheons for nearly eight years. Outstanding cuisine! Mac-n-cheese, greens, and ribs are the absolute best. Thought the chicken was cooked too long. Four customers in front of me caused a 40 minute wait to pay $866. That 's ridiculous! However, they were challenging and required too much service/attention to place a order. There should have been a second counter worker, but a sign was posted 'we 're under staffed '. I did make a personal purchase of the fry batter I enjoy, a bottle of BBQ sauce, and received a sample of their new seasoning. All in all, I will continue to enjoy their delicious luncheons, but will never again stop in to pay.
