ひらた Shí Táng - Wakuya

This restaurant is a long-established dining spot that has been around for almost half a century. Highly recommended are the signature fried noodles and pork cutlet curry of Watarai. The fried noodles are made with brown noodles that have been steamed twice, similar to the style of Ishinomaki fried noodles, and you can pour the sauce over them yourself. The pork cutlet curry features a pork cutlet topped with a raw egg, combining the harmony of a pork cutlet bowl and curry. Personally, I recommend the Han Chan Ramen or the B Set (Ramen, Gyoza, Han Chan Fried Rice)! The old-fashioned taste of the ramen, the Han Chan fried rice, and the gyoza with snow cabbage mixed into the skin, creating green gyoza, are all delightful.

I ate the B set, which included yakisoba, ramen, gyoza, and fried rice. The taste was nostalgic and very delicious. I would definitely like to visit this restaurant again. Additionally, I heard from a local acquaintance that the recommended menu items at Hirata Shokudo are miso ramen and katsu curry.
