I agree this ice cream is iconic for the beach. Only errors is the use of Styrofoam bowls that are very environmentally friendly

Favorite ice cream place ever! The staff is always friendly. Great ice cream and the waffle cones are amazing! The Purple Cow flavor is hands down THE BEST!

The Vanilla Bean is an iconic old fashioned beach ice cream shop. You can smell the freshly made waffle cones wafting from the open windows. The ice cream for s homemade and the flavors fun and varied. But the usual ones are here too. Get a Blondie brownie sundae, or a turtle sundae or a hand packed pint to go. You won't be disappointed!

This is my favorite place to get ice cream. You can't beat the vanilla bean and it is no secret. The prices are reasonable and the quality is excellent. Whether you want one scoop of ice cream or a massive Sundae they have everything you'd want. The people are nice there and they generally have all of the hundred or so flavors in stock. Be patient though because sometimes it does take 10 minutes to wait in line. My only wish is that they would accept debit and credit cards because I sometimes forget cash and I would love to be able to stop there.

Delicious ice cream flavor, many choices (including sugar-free options, and HUGE portions. And eat it on the beach next door, what could be better?
