Delicious home cooked food, great service, friendly atmosphere, pleasant happy helpful staff

I recently went on a night out with a group of friends and we made a reservation at Shepherds Arms. It was my first time dining there. The food was fantastic. I began with chicken and leek soup followed by a delicious navarin of lamb. The soup was delicious and the lamb was incredibly tender with a generous serving of fresh vegetables. I will definitely be returning to Shepherds Arms in the future.

The food was top class, but at a very reasonable price. House Chardonnay was only £14 a bottle. Belly pork was great, I even got some gravy to take home. For a quality meal out this place ticks all the boxes. The specials board adds even more choices. The staff were very friendly and helpful, keep up the excellent work.
