Visited Boxing Day with family. What an amazing place, lunch was good old Yorkshire food served perfectly. Great atmosphere.

Wow what a beer garden! This “little” place is so unassuming from the outside yet opens up into a huge garden outdoor dining area. The garden with outdoor bar and pods looks excellent. We ate in the garden and enjoyed two of the platters that represented great value. Will definitely be returning hopefully for a function that I’ve enquired about. Great variety of well priced drinks on offer also.

Last minute booking for a table for 11 for Xmas eve lunchtime. Great choice on the menu and the tapas was amazing, every dish perfectly cooked and good prices. Even my 2 grandchildren were each given a selection box . Have been to this pub on various occasions and always welcoming and will keep returning

We booked a table for my grandsons birthday whilst visiting my daughter, we had travelled from the Midlands to Yorkshire. It a lovely pub with extremely friendly staff. Nothing was too much trouble. They catered for our needs perfectly and always with a smile. Great food, I had the tapas which was a real treat, very nice. Everyone enjoyed their meal, and all commented on the quality. The food was cooked fresh and the handmade pizzas gave me food envy when I saw someone else 's meal. I needn 't have worried my meal was delicious. The owner was so enthusiastic, she was happy to show us the work that had gone on outside with the extended garden area with feature dining pods and great views from anywhere in the seated area. They also have real ales, which were perfect. Is clear that the landlady is passionate about her business and I would highly recommend a visit. You will not be disappointed.
