Al's Tea And Coffee Shop - Wakefield

Really nice traditional cafe with a large variety of choice. Food was really nice and clearly fresh and homemade and staff attentive and helpful. Will definitely be visiting again. Breakfast looks great will try that next time

I took my family out for dinner on Tuesday afternoon and was pleasantly surprised by the excellent food and service. I highly recommend this place for a delicious and cozy cafe dinner.

Went into this tea room with a friend on Tuesday for the first time wil definitely go again very clean made to feel very welcome had a small breakfast and a pot of tea everything was piping hot good menu to choose from also had a pensioners menu as well

Went with three friends yesterday for al's afternoon tea, from 3 different fresh well filled sandwiches, home made cakes carrot cake, chocolate fudge cake, macaroons etc) scones with cream and jam, choice of refilled tea/coffee of your choice, served on lovely cake stand. Could not fault it, a snip at only £7.50, will be certainly going there again. well done Al

I visited this cafe today with my Mum and we received a lovely welcome from very friendly staff. However I ordered a starter before my main and my Mother just ordered her main, we asked if I could have my starter, then our mains together however my starter and my Mum’s mains were brought out together. The food itself was presented nicely but was rather bland and felt microwaved. My Mum then ordered Rhubarb crumble but instead received Rhubarb sponge, she is too polite to complain but this to me was on the whole was poor service, one mistake is acceptable but two shows a lack of communication between staff.
