The Orchard Cafe - Waitakaruru

The café is located within a blueberry orchard, which is a major draw for visitors. I highly recommend it as a fantastic escape from the city to enjoy some fresh air, light exercise, and pick blueberries at a very reasonable price of only $10 per kg. It's just a short drive from Auckland on the way to Thames. After picking, you can relax at the café and try a variety of blueberry treats. They offer cakes, smoothies, ice cream, and more, as well as sandwiches and paninis. We tried the blueberry and white chocolate cheesecake, which was delicious, and a blueberry smoothie, which was very nice. I highly recommend this spot to anyone who loves blueberries and is looking for a relaxing activity in the sun where they can eat as many berries as they want.
