When we got to dinner, did we seem to have one? special prices? Dinner. When we had no reservations, the lady 6 of us could sit on 2 different tables. A gentleman went by when we sat and made a Huff sound when he fainted?must not be a reservation people?. It was a bit rude. The server we got was amazing and treated us with respect. Help us with menu options and new the specials. He knew the menu well, as well as the specials. We were there to celebrate a 16th 50th birthday. The prices seemed normal for this area.

Ate here before our flight from the island and will definitely be back. Enjoy the mist cod so buttery and melts in your mouth, a duck fat racks, sushi rolls and refreshing drinks. Our server was personal and very knowledgeable about the menu and the island.

This is our first meal in Big Island. Very small portions and the food is not so good, but fresh. Very expensive for what you get (quality and quantity). Would not recommend this place.

I want to give this place a 5 but just couldn?t. Let me tell you why you should still eat here. The staff is extremely friendly! I called in to get a reservation and they were great. The place was packed at 6 when we arrived. Masks are required. The food was really good but the portions a bit smaller than expected. That?s not a bad thing. I really enjoyed our meal.

This was the first meal we had after landed in the Big Island. The foods are okay, but portions are tiny, not worth the price for sure. A little bit understaffed and charged a fixed 18% service fee with very little service. Won?t recommend this place to people who can easily find Japanese restaurants in there hometown.
