Bidra med feedbackFrom the inside, I can't even explain how much I respect the market and the employees after work here. Did you know they all passed a math test before they were taken into account at all? Yes, the workers here are really amazing and are really appreciated. The place is family owned a lot of patience, teamwork and loyalty go to daily operation. I've never experienced such a strong commitment to a business through the headline until I worked here. They are fighting traffic every day, as they do not live in the community and set up more than expected working hours every week to ensure low prices for our community. The original Tamura store was on the street in the early 1900s and served the Waianae plantation community. If it wasn't about the kindness extended by the Tamura family that allowed my grandmother to keep the poor plantation working family a tab on food until they were able to pay, I wouldn't be here. Perhaps the place may seem obsolete or dingy for some, but for me, every time I go to the store, I notice how amazing the Tamura family and the business has been for the last 100 years and how the store really keeps the country that Waianae has, while corporate structures like CVS slowly appear around us. Tamura Super Market is really the best family business that is always looking for joint investments and holds an ohana-oriented team of employees I have ever heard!
