Unfortunately it was rather disappointing as they were short-staffed and very depleted menu meant not much choice and long waits. Good ambience and staff trying hard though.
We booked on OpenTable and we’re all prepared to have a nice meal only to discover that the pub was closed. Not notice and even the voicemail did not suggest they were closed. Avoid.
They went to have some drinks, but the place closed at 9:30 a.m. on a Saturday. They turned off the lights and locked the door as we were leaving. I was very disappointed.
A very welcoming pub with attentive staff. I had the best fish and chips I've enjoyed in a long time. Overall, it was an enjoyable meal.
