Wendy's - Wadesboro

The employees here intentionally are slow to do less work and provide poor service. We waited in the drive thru for 20 minutes. While waiting with my husband in the drivers seat, I walked my dog outside and walked around the building and looked through the 2nd pull-up window and they didn’t have anyone waiting past the speaker and there were 3 employees huddled together by the drink machine on their phones and when they saw me looking at them they all quickly dispersed away from the window except for the lady assigned to the window. Then another customer from inside the store came out and I asked her if they are waiting long inside and she said the wait inside is 20 minutes and she said they told her they were behind on orders and figured they were prioritizing the drive thru and I told her no that they make everyone wait 20 minutes and she was shocked. The workers only take one order at a time whether in the drive through or inside and claim they are behind when they are wasting time. After I got back in the vehicle and my husband told them the mobile order name and pulled up to receive the order, we were then told that they didn’t receive our order. So then I pulled up my mobile order to verify the address and told her it says to pick up in the drive thru. She told me to pull up and after waiting 20 minutes I told her I would prefer to wait at the window since they only take one order at a time and I was told that they would not be providing me service. I then asked for a refund and was told they couldn’t help me and she shut the window and put a cardboard in front. So after 5 more minutes of me waiting there trying to figure out if I should call the police or not, I was able to cancel the order.
