I had a wonderful dining experience in a lovely atmosphere. The decor was truly breathtaking.

While searching for dinner one evening, we came across this restaurant located a bit away from the canals, and it turned out to be quite a delightful experience. The staff was friendly, the menu had a nice variety, and the atmosphere was enjoyable. However, there were a few shortcomings that kept me from giving a full five-star rating: they didn't inform us that certain menu items were unavailable at the time we ordered, the "skinny fries" were disappointing, and they forgot to bring sugar with our coffee. Despite these minor issues, I would definitely like to return.

I finished my starter in just a few minutes, and by then, the dining area was almost full. My main course came about 15 minutes later, which I felt was reasonable considering the necessary preparation and cooking time. I was pleasantly surprised to discover sweet potato mash, which wasn’t mentioned on the menu; it was a lovely touch. The vegetables were a bit limited, but the meat was tender and juicy, really enhancing the overall meal. I ordered the braised beef, and the balance between the meat and vegetables was just right, with the filling perfectly complementing the meat. Shortly after, I ordered dessert as the restaurant became busier. The dessert was priced at £12.95, and given the generous portion and deliciousness of the dish, I thought it was worth it. By the end of my meal, I felt completely satisfied. When my dessert, the divine cake, arrived, it looked absolutely stunning. It was a solid cheesecake drizzled with rich sauce and served with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. It made for a delightful conclusion to the meal, and at £5.95, it seemed like a fair price. Although I’m not usually a fan of cheesecake, I found this dessert to be quite enjoyable. On a minor note, there were a couple of aspects that could be improved—specifically, the table was a bit sticky, which slightly detracted from my experience, and I noticed I was charged two different prices for the same drinks. Overall, however, it was a pleasant dinner, and I would consider returning.
