Ichiban Japanese Steakhouse Sushi

1st time here and it was great. No one was there at lunch time so we were kinda scared about that but we were wrong. We will return.

Awesome trick with John!! Very sweet and funny!! The food is incredibly good!! Very respectful and just very genuine people!! I highly recommend John and Third in the hibachi area!! I couldn’t post the video but John has an awesome egg trick!! Definitely ask him about it if you get him!! Me and my daughter shared a two steaks and rice and it costed $35-$45Kid-friendliness: Very loving and joking!! John and Third are very sweet!! They both try and involve the kids in any way they can!!

Had a pleasant dining experience at Ichiban this evening. The atmosphere was spot-on, very classy and tastefully decorated. My miso soup could have been hotter but was otherwise very nice. The grilled eel roll (pictured below) was phenomenal, would definitely recommend. My brother also enjoyed his food.Overall, I had a great time. If you're looking for great sushi in Waco and don't mind spending a little extra, Ichiban is for you.

Hibachi chef was awesome. Definitely a good show. But the service was slow and the orders got messed up. Took forever to get the tickets split correctly.

The food is always good!Service tonight was not good. Short staffing and miscommunication among staff.The staff were doing the best that they could!
