Bidra med feedbackWow wow wow. This place is AMAZING. If you’ve never been to this little village then I suggest you go here, check out the shops, and stop by this restaurant. Cafe Homestead is a really special place. The ambiance is superb with the small cottagestyle feel. The walls are all cedar wood which is super pleasing to the eye and there is painted art covered all over the wallsavailable for purchase. The servers and hostesses are super friendly and patient. I loved that I didn’t feel rushed as acustomer and I felt as if they genuinely appreciated us dinning there. It was a nice change of pace from what I expect when I goout to eat lately. I ordered the chicken fried steak with potatoes and a side roll, my partner ordered the brisket macaroni andcheese with a wedge salad. Immediately when you take a bite out of the food you can tell it’s made by fresh ingredients. Youcan also tell it’s all homemade and from scratch. The rolls were soft and warm, potatoes had bits of potato that wasn’tfully mashed which added a nice texture and assured its freshly made from whole potatoes. The chicken fried steak was REALLYgood. Thick steaks, crispy buttery breading, and creamy milky gravy. So so so good. The brisket macaroni had good flavor- it hada smokey bbq flavor and the macaroni and cheese was awesome. I just wish the brisket inside was slightly bigger for theprice. I highly recommend and we will definitely be back soon so I can try that quesadilla burger!
The best steak I've ever had! The fritters, spinach dip, wedge salad, and coconut cream pie were also amazing! We had the sweetest server, Tabitha. She went above and beyond to make sure we had the best experience. Definitely will eat here again whenwe're back in town!
This restaurant was fantastic! The chicken fried steak and jalapeño cheddar soup were both outstanding. The coconut cream pie was, without a doubt, the best I've ever had—better than even the most famous small-town diners in Texas. We will definitely return the next time we're in town.
This restaurant is nestled among fields and grasslands, and the building has a charming, rustic wooden design. The atmosphere is lovely, and the food was quite tasty. I'm not sure if it was truly authentic American cuisine, but I definitely enjoyed my lunch here.
The food was truly delightful. Everything was fantastic, from the wedge salad to the refreshing peach tea. What makes this gem special is that all the ingredients are sourced locally. The service was outstanding as well!
