Stratospheric! There are no other words to describe it! Kind and polite staff, impeccable service, excellent food, the homemade pasta or the menu with Fiorentina and bottle of Chianti is highly recommended! Definitely excellent value for money! Splendid restaurant in the picturesque Piazza dei Priori in Volterra. Traditional menu, not touristy and with more than correct prices, corresponding to the quality of the food. We were here on a Saturday evening, without having booked we were welcomed and found a seat. As an appetizer we ordered a delicious bruschetta with guacamole and cherry tomatoes, followed by a Volterrana soup and spaghetti with pesto and pine nuts. Beautiful warm and enveloping atmosphere, the place has an ancient charm, with a splendid frescoed ceiling. Vegetarian options: The Volterrana soup is excellent: mixed vegetables with toasted croutons. Light but filling!
