Gasthaus Und Metzgerei Schübl'adl

We were looking for a good restaurant and came here for lunch exclusively from the good reviews. Everything was fun. The food was fresh and tasty, the staff very attentive and friendly and the prices appropriate. We can really recommend the restaurant and come back.

We were with our bikes on a Sunday in Vohenstrauß and by chance found the inn with the beautiful beer garden. It was just 2:00 a.m. and we had to remember getting a warm lunch. We met the boss himself in the beer garden and he served us personally. He sat down to the forest occupants at the table and we had a very good chat with him. Food was prima and the beer tasted very good. We come back to the Schübladls Biergarten this year with a larger bike group from Franken and will enjoy the hospitality of Fritz Hoffmann. Thanks to Fritz.

Small but very rustic restaurant still with typical Bavarian host house culture. Very delicious and really freshly prepared food, at very fair prices. (my recommendation: the potato soup) The host and his wife are very warm and attentive. We came as strangers and went as regular guests.

Friendly service, good fresh beer and a perfect price/performance ratio, the boss comes by personally, what is more beautiful at the half-time of a bockelweg bike tour??
