Copains Comme Cochons - Vitré

My wife and I visited copains comme cochons yesterday and that was our fifth visit. We were never disappointed, but that was probably the best meal. mushroom soup for my wife to begin while I had carpaccio. both fresh and delicious. followed by Rabbit stew, which was also excellent. that was enough for my wife, but I had the mousse au chocolat that could not have been better... and I am an expert. to this great service and atmosphere, a set menu price for 3 courses of only €16 and they could not ask for more. I'm sorry I mentioned a red one for € 8. incredible, it's just about my favorite restaurant in the region.

I've eaten twice a day while I was in business in vitre. I'm sure you're worth a visit while they're in town. only small quibble was a dick that was not well cooked indefinitely, but I didn't complain because my French don't stretch so far. rest of...Mahlen were excellent esp suppe and bark meat bourguignon it is small, so coming out early sitting is a bit spoiled by the volume of passing cars. the waiters were patient with my bad French.

Business dinner with 2 solid youngs. the restaurant is small, but beautifully decorated. full house, better, a reservation for lunch or dine there. fast lunch, 3 courses for 15.50 eur. Eating is just okay, nothing special, looks fantastic on the paper and away. worse in the plate. weine are very young, lots of 2016, from all wine-growing areas frankreichs. nothing special, looks like a vins nicolas offer. portionings are definitiw spartians, if they are very hungry, they go somewhere else.

Cute little resto with lots of character. Went there for lunch and the other patrons were all French. The service was great and very friendly. The server explains all the details and ingredients of each dish. A lot of food for reasonable price (15€ for...3 courses, 12€ for 2 courses). I was served a large steak, perfectly cooked. Everything is thoughtfully prepared with fresh ingredients. For dessert I had the rice pudding, which was good but not the best I ever had as stated by a previous reviewer. I appreciated that it was not too sweet. Recommend trying this intimate little restaurant.

We were here at this restaurant recently and we were not disappointed! We had a real treat of a meal including the best rice pudding ever! We will definitely be back here for other meals in the future and recommend it to anybody. Hilary, graham...and Charles
