Bidra med feedbackVery casual and super friendly service, not crowded with tourist buses. beautiful beach, good food, excellent margaritas, massages on site and great way to relax
We were made to feel like family here! We got to meet the owner and indulge with him! We got very special treatment! It is such a nice place to hang out and really enjoy the enviornment!! Thanks Jorge! See you very soon! Hopefully in Washington!
Great stop for drinks and food. Wood grilled whatever they are having that day is great. The grilled seafood for 2 fed us dorado, tuna, camarones gigantico and pulpo for $400 pesos. Highly recommend the tuna sashimi app; muy bien! Marg. 's on the rocks are sweeter than the typical lime marg. Maybe more OJ or orange liquor added for a nice combo of sweet tart and salt.
Taking long walks along Playa Blanca, we happened upon Chula Vida. We wound up visiting three times to sample exquisitely prepared seafood, hang out most of the afternoon swimming, eating, satisfying our thirst with a good selection of beverages and hanging out on hammocks (provided) and lounge chairs. A great treat.
We’re staying at Marea on Playa Blanca and so drove down the road about 5 minutes to Chula Vida. We enjoyed a mixed seafood grill for the adults consisting of fish, large shrimp and octopus. It came with rice and grilled veggies. Very tasty. Our very unadventurous kids liked their pasta with pesto, cheese and nuts. The margaritas were overly sweet for my taste. I would opt for beer. The employees were friendly, the bathrooms were clean, and the prices were reasonable. The beach is lovely at sunset.
