Bidra med feedbackWhen in Viroqua, we decided to pick up to go dinner from here. Due to COVID, they're currently only doing a carry out dinner (pre ordered) Thursday nights and a taco carry out dinner Friday nights. We placed an order for two taco platters for $38 including tip. We showed up at our designated time and called to notify them for curbside pickup but they were running behind, so we ended up sitting and waiting an extra 15 minutes. They were friendly and apologetic when we did get our food and I didn't care too much but if you're in a rush, you might want to keep that in mind. As for the tacos, I got fish and my husband got meat. Each taco platter is $16 and comes with three tacos, chips and salsa, and salad. The tacos themselves were excellent my fish ones were heaven and definitely filling. The chips and salsa were underwhelming (the salsa being more of a bean and tomato thing that I wouldn't have pegged for salsa), and the salad was average. I was there for the tacos, so overall I was pleased, but I think the price point was a tad high for the whole combo. I'm sure in pre and post COVID times it's a different story, and if I'm ever in Viroqua again, I have every intention of stopping by for their seemingly legendary brunch!
Dani is a very special chef. We have never had a meal here we didn't enjoy! We love the tacos on Friday and the wide variety of internationally inspired cuisines. Local, organic and seasonal.
Amazing brunch! We've been here now two Sunday's in a row, simply excellent. Brunch menu will vary, today we both had the Huevos Rancheros and the are quite possibly the best we've ever had. Starter? **** Mary with the cheese, meat, pickled addition and a chaser. If you like bloodies, try this. Then, onto the Huevos. Great atmosphere, great service, excellent food.
Limited hours- great for Friday night tacos and Sunday brunch (but not in summer). Exceptional cocktails and a most wonderful farmer chef. Also, EXCELLENT catering!
We met friends for drinks at their FRIDAY NIGHT DRINKERY TACO STAND in late September. We were on our way to a play so we had a drink and a couple of tacos, Craft cocktails, microbrews, house made, seasonally inspired TACOS using seasonal ingredients and fresh salsas, salads and desserts.
