Mahi Mah's Seafood And Sushi Saloon

We love Mahi Mah's and try to dine here each time we visit Va Beach!

The location is wonderful. The food was just OK, not much flavor at all. Good local beers. Although our server was uninterested we did observe others interacting with other customers and assuring they had a good time.

The service was awesome. However, our hostess sat us in the worst possible area--right smack in the middle of a crowded party of inebriated guests. Another sever seated is in a more quiet area. Our waitress was a little irritated, but overall, she was attentive. Prices are comparable to elsewhere, but the beer prices are outrageous. How can you justify $8 for a beer on tap? On the plus side, the view is gorgeous. I also applaud them for being original. It wasn 't your stereotypical sushi joint with frenetic, if it 's Asian, it must be Japanese style decor. Thanks for not doing that!

Oysters were huge, fun/beachy cocktails. The crab pots were our favorite dish ordered.

Took a friend out for her birthday. Had a pleasant evening although it was a bit loud. Ordered the spicy tuna roll and the smashed cauliflower which was really good. I did like that we were able to hang out at the table for a while without feeling like we were being rushed out. Will come back again.
