Bidra med feedbackHubby and I were looking for a beautiful Filipino court when we arrived in Virginia Beach for a weekend getaway. We found this place and it looked decent and clean. I saw a caucasian woman working and seeing no one looking for Filipina and I asked her if this was a Filipino restaurant and she pricked, yes it is! She added that she was married to a Filipino gentleman and that the cook is her son and menu will be Fusion Filipino court. Means they made changes in the menu. We ordered classic lumps, pancite with extra shrimps and some fusion cums and spent about $65.00 dollars. We sat in the car to wait for our food and about 15 minutes later the owner came with our food (that was very nice of her). When we arrived at our hotel, we did not disappear our time, began to eat and loved the classic lumps, it was good. However, was disappointed on the pancite, it didn’t have much vegetables, it was okay, then the fusions cumshots, but just didn’t have this ump taste. Later in the night both hubby and I did not begin to feel and had some Tummy problems. Was it because of the food we ate? I hope not! All in all, I love the customer service they provided, but would we go back? Probably not, we would pass on this.
Small place and no ruffles, but the staff is friendly and attentive and the food we had was delicious. We ordered the traditional lumps and pancites. The lumps were made with beef and the pancite was made with chicken. Traditionally, both are pork-based. I can't eat pigs anymore, so it was a nice surprise for me. After saying that, while the pancite was delicious, it was a bit different than traditional swine fever. Not less, just different. We will definitely come back.
Absolutely my favorite place to get lumps by far! They are big and cigar size. They also have other varieties of lumps like Philly cheese steak, pizza and dessert varieties. Definitely a place every lumpia lover should try.
My friend suggested we go here, it was my first time, so many lumpia choices, I had to try different ones, woww it was so good, hot and fresh, my least favorite was the Philly lumpia, my favorite was the pizza lumpia, the Oreo lumpia dessert was tasty. The staff was super friendly and nice. Clean, open dine in area, or you can order takeout. I will definitely be coming back to try more different menu items
I brought home some frozen lumpia for hubby and I that consisted of 10 classic, 6 pizza, 6 Oreo and 2 surprise breakfast lumpias. We also got all the sauces (sweet chili, chocolate for the oreo and ranch for the ? . I fried mine right up in my Fry Daddy and they were perfect!!! That oreo with chocolate sauce was a super delicious different lumpia. I find their lumpia to be the best in HR. A close 2nd to my mama's. Definitely worth a trip to VB.
