I came across this this ice cream shop called Cream la Dream while in Norfolk, VA. This place is located right off the Atlantic strip, which is walking distance from the beach. They offer Instagram-worthy concoctions such as: a verity of ice-cream flavors, uniquely made milkshakes, and decadent ice cream sandwiches made of cookies, waffles, donuts or brownies.The Milkshake: ???They called this the Cookies n Cream, but I’m going to call it Art in a Jar….lol…. It is cookies and cream ice cream topped with pieces of white chocolate, huge oreo cookies, whipped cream, and chocolate syrup. I really enjoyed this. It looks just like it taste……Amazing!The Ice cream Sandwiches: ???I decided to try the brownie sandwich. With this, you can pick whatever ice cream you want in the middle. I asked for coconut ice cream, but she gave me cookies n cream instead. Although she made a mistake, I was still very impressed. The brownie has an intense rich flavor of chocolate, very moist, and a gooey center that’s similar to Godiva Truffles.Overall, this place is certainly deserving of at least a B+ rating. We went here last summer on vacation and it was so good! We ordered the kinder Bueno milkshake, and it was absolutely delicious. I would definitely recommend splitting their milkshakes unless you can eat a ton of dessert because they are huge and decadent. The service was great and the restaurant was clean. If you go during busy hours or when it's raining, you probably won't be able to get a table, though. We will definitely be back this summer to try another flavor!

I love this place. Excellent service and many sweets to choose from! Cookies are soft, chewy, and taste homemade, very tasty! I made the Cookie Sandwich, for those wondering, it's ingredients include Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream, Whip Cream, Chocolate Sauce and Oreos. I can't wait to come back! Everyone should try Dream the La Cream! ?

Great upbeat staff! Our smoothies were great, both times...would suggest a ? Weekend smoothie or______?? le cream club. Only thing we didn't prefer is coming our 1st night n then having prices go up the 2nd time we were there. How bout a 3-5 hole punch card that each use is same price as 1st..ie locks in your VIP price for weekend??

It was good. I passed by this and saw the cotton candy characters, and I had to get one. Needless to say, I was so disappointed when they told me the machine wasn't working. Since it was my birthday that day, I decided to get the birthday celebration milkshake instead. It was delicious but super super messy. We were waking down the street and so may people asked me where I got it from. It was so pretty. Kids and adults loved to look at it. Some took pics to send to other people. If your ever on Virginia Beach near 22nd street. Give it a go.
