Bidra med feedbackThe entire experience was wonderful! We were there to celebrate my daughter's birthday and was treated like royalty. Service, staff, management...all were friendly, courteous, and kind.
Cobalt Grill is always a great pleasure. I never had a meal I didn't really enjoy here. The service is always timely and attentive. During this special visit the restaurant was very crowded and my wife and I were ready to sit in the bar. The bar was our server and ensured that we and all the others were well looked after in the bar area. My wife and I both ordered the specials of the day, and as always, were not disappointed. Can't wait to go back.
We went here for Valentine's weekend the food was phenomenal. I ordered the chicken penne pasta and it was absolutely divine. My date got the pork ribeye, and to our surprise they asked how we wanted it to be cooked. Not only did the cook it beautifully, overall the plate was beautiful each item perfectly complimenting the other. We also got the baked Camembert, it was our first time having it all of the pairings the gave us for it were delightful. To finish out our meal we decided to get the tre leches with the cardamom ice cream, and the unsung star of that was the ice cream. It was a true delight to eat here. I cannot wait for us to come back for just the food alone. The service was a delight as well our waitress was patient as we took our time to decide what we wanted, and even took my drink back to the bar when I said that it was a little bit too strong tasting for my liking. Aside from the stunning food, which was beautiful to eat and look at, the amazing waitstaff, the restaurant itself was very warm feeling and comfortable to be in. It's not the type of place I'd go dressed down I'd definitely wear something nicer here, maybe business casual. All in all; I highly recommend trying this place if you are able to afford the trip, as I wouldn't say it is the cheapest place. The food is worth the price in my opinion.
Tuesday night we sailed in for their burger night special, but on instagram i saw fresh rockfish available also. well i am an old guy and chris and i both love rockfish or stripers, or striped bass......whatever you want to call them. from the late 60's thrru the 80's i made part of my income from catching these fish commercially, so that also means i have eaten them for a very long time too. Tuesday night was two of the best rockfish dinners i have ever had. We had a new server to us, nice gentleman named Mike. we ordered two dinners, fried portobello mushroom app, Caesar salad with dinner and a new red blend wine........i hope i see rockfish on the menu again here soon. the rockfish came with mashed potatoes and broccoli, regular mashed potatoes, not the garlic ones that seem to be the thing these days here and there, just plain outstanding mashed potatoes. Now on top of the rockfish was a creme type sauce of fresh crabmeat and lobster meat and it was nice, but when it got all mixed up with the mashed potatoes and broccoli.....OMG what a great dish it became. keep an eye out for rockfish again and see if Mike is working carry big wallet too.
I came for a quick late lunch, about 4:00 on Wednesday. I had the fish and chips, broccoli and dipsum donuts. The fish was strongly spiced. Not seasoned. And very fat. The bread cake dripping with fat and falling off. The broccoli comes with large garlic cloves. I don't mind, garlic, so I was fine. The Donuts were so good!! These are covered in sugar and a little ginger (not enough ginger to notice) and comes with caramel, raspberry and chocolate sauces. It was very good, would definitely get it back. The staff was nice and the place is clean. Nothing spectacular. I also feel that the fish was somewhat overpriced for how small and underwhelming the part was. $19, a bit much.
