I had their Calf fries! It was so good, cooked just right! You can't get good Calf fries like that just anywhere! I'll definitely be going back for more!

The problem was that everything I had bruised with gravity. So always ask for gravity on the side. A super sweet waitress and the place was full. Try it!

Wonderful 66 atmosphere together with wonderful food and service? Real Americana! Do you ever visit them? The good old days are all gone. You're gonna love Clanton? If you don't, something's wrong with you. A Hollywood movie set too! Right on Route 66?

This is a must for comfort food! I've been here for over 35 years, but they've been in Vinita since 1927 and now have a RT 66 missing Icon not. It didn't change all the years I fed here. Even large portions, perfectly prepared with friendly service reasonable prices. Always busy, but we never felt rushed. My personal favorites are the RT 66 breakfast, Country Fried Chicken, Hot Hamburger Plate and always a Pie I usually have to go my cake. Clanton's cafe was created by more 'foodie groups' than I knew. Just ask someone in the guestbook or a local and they'll tell you the same... Hidden food My husband and I went through the city and decided to stop here for dinner because this was supposed to be the place to feed back into the day. We both ordered chicken roast steak, but had different sides. I was pleasantly surprised how amazing everything tasted. All fresh, well seasoned and prepared. The food here is better than many of the chic places in Dallas. Service was exceptional and the owner was very personal and welcoming. This will be our place now if we're on the way.
