Yamato - Vincennes

The food was great and the staff was friendly. This place is a little from the beaten path. The dining area was clean and quiet during our visit. The bathroom was also clean; I would recommend and will return in the future!

Update! The food is still brilliant. The building is still tiny and stunned. Management still cries to the staff. But the food rocks. The menu has many interesting dishes on it. Your presentation is usually decent. However, the former sushi bar now looks like a storage area, and they cook practically without flares. No cooking show flash at all. I remember sitting at the sushi bar watching the knife show with my son. You have to go back. They're trying a little harder. I'm tilting a little bigger.

Always fantastic, my fiancée and I come here at least once a month since we've been together first. There are many memories here and also a lot of good food!

There are, surprisingly, a large number of Asian cuisines in this small, rural, Indiana town. In all of Vincennes, this one is my favorite. The waitstaff are great! They are friendly, polite, work hard, definitely earn their dollar. The food is great! I've been here a number of times, and try a different dish, each time. I've not been disappointed yet. Definitely one of the best restaurants in Vincennes.
