Pizza Pit - VINALHAVEN

Great island pizza. Best views of any pizza joint! Try the garlic/broccoli white pizza!!

My medium veggie pizza came out with about twice as much dough as a normal pizza I would say which made for quite a hearty, carb-heavy meal. Slices were narrow which combined with pillowy high soft dough made it kind of awkward to attempt to fold and eat. This style of pizza my be enjoyed by some folks, but it's not for me.

Good menu. Ordered veggie pizza which was meh and a custom pizza with broccoli bacon chicken that was better. Not the best pizza, but you are in the middle of nowhere on an island in northern Maine. So you take what you get. Better pizza than Sandbar.

Pizza and salad buffet weekdays 11am to 1pm. Good deal.
