Have had lunch here recently with my kids and parents and we were all more than happy with our meals. They came out fresh and tasty and there was more than enough for all of us. My youngest loves the kids playing corner and all of my mob look forward to choosing something from the treat basket when it 's time for mum&dad to settle the bill. I also love the decorations in the Gaststätte as well as the lovingly decorated tables. We look forward to returning again as soon as possible. This is very popular with locals and my family.

Very typical Schwarzwald Baden eatery, tucked away and worth hunting out. Good food, inexpensive, and of course, beer.....!!!

We were here twice now and the food was nice both times. The staff is friendly and helpful. There is an English menu, if necessary, the dessert menu is in German, but has pictures, so I am sure you can work it out. Some of the staff speak enough English to help if needed. The salad that comes first is delicious, like the whole other food we ate. The second time they were very busy, but they found room for us on a funny little bank on the bar that was quite funny. Apparently very popular among locals and with good reason. I recommend beef in severity (which is a steak) with onions and the Kasespetzel a kind of pasta type with cheese that was beautiful. My husband recommends the special toast for the more adventurous.

I was on business, so I came alone. It was excellent, staff very friendly and helpful. Menu in English. Had the onion soup and pepper steak with some very nice house red. Do not let yourself out as it is typical German, but great inside and good menu.

Wow! What a great meal... Fresh salad served as an appetizer with generous dinner portions. The restaurant was packed with locals. The staff was very friendly and offered English menus. If you want a great traditional German meal, this is the place!
