Bidra med feedbackWe ate and drank here 3 times recently as many restaurants were closed in the lead up to the local fiesta. Our cheerful waiter, Javi, could not have been nicer despite our language barriers and his very high workload. The food is quite basic and mainly served with homemade chips but the variety is wide with fish and seafood as well as other traditional Spanish meat dishes. We sat outside every night and ate: gambas pil pil, fried boquerones, albondigas, fried quail eggs with bacon ! , croquettas, local cheese, grilled chicken. We had hoped for paella but apparently this is a lunchtime dish who knew . All were tasty and good value for money. Unfortunately for me there were no puddings! The red wine was also good as you would hope in Spain. The clientele are multi-generational mainly Spanish, as this is not a tourist area, and range from families with young children through groups of young people to middle aged groups of friends with everything in between. It seems to be a real hub of the community and we couldn't understand why it never appeared on any websites. They intend to have a Facebook page and I hope they include their opening hours as this seems to be a bit of a secret for most restaurants in Rosario. In the meantime, you will definitely find them open at weekends til late. Thank you Javi for making us so welcome!
