Maplefields - Village of Malone

It's a clean well stocked store they are professional but quick. There are a wide variety of snacks and drinks as well as first aid items. Windshield washer plus a small grocery isle.

Bathrooms are clean, individual, multiple, genderless, and indicate vacancies well. (Wish they had paper towels instead of air blasters, but those are modern and blasty. Chicken tenders are otherworldly good, cooked in four minutes by shiny boxy robots operated by friendly humans. Gas pumps work and are well laid out. On the east side of Malone, and I live west, but will divert here from now on. Rest-stop done right. Wish all the world's byways were dotted with such as these.

Great food, but they need more wraps (garlic and tomato basil) like the use to have. Their plain is too doughy and the spinach is too dry!

I was excited the store was remodeled like the Raybrook location my favorite gas station hands down. Not so with this one. Staff is rude and unprofessional. The checkout is self serve only now, and the employee at the time was clearly upset and inconvenienced to have to point that out. Apparently, talking to another employee about a rather personal issue is much more important than customer service.

Wonderful Cafe. We've eaten at the one in Ray Brook and couldn't wait for this one to open. Steak and cheese is really good. Better than Mo's Pub and $20 for my husband and myself as to the $50 at Mo's and the food was much better.
