Fogolar - VILLA SANTINA

Saying Location is charming is an understatement. The place is uniquely decorated with trinkets and memorabilia everywhere. The hosts are very helpful and service is great. Michela really tries hard to help in every way she can. Cleanliness is clinical. However all this would mean nothing without great food.... And food IS indeed great. Had some very unusual gnocchi made from potatoes butter and fiori the zucchine... Followed by some truly soft chicjen brrast topped with mushrooms and venison. The panna cotta ai frutti di bosco was superb. The rooms are simple but spotlessly clean and fully furnished with very comfortable matresses to make for a good night's sleep. So very higly recommended indeed.

Very nice place all in wood that recalls the typical family strawberries. simple but quality dishes, simple and friendly service. more than adequate portions at excellent prices. really a nice place to eat typically spending the right in a warm, familiar and characteristic environment. places so in Italy should be everywhere and last over time despite the various TV formats push towards a world of cuisine and catering that does not fit, or better is not what has made us the state with the best kitchen in the world.
