Waldhaus - Villa La Angostura

Incredible service and incredible food. We ate here twice during our visit to VA, and we usually do not like to repeat dinner spots, but that was an exception. Fantastic

If we had time, we would have returned for a second meal. We ordered appetizers, cheese fondue, goulash w/ latezle and chocolate fondue for desert. We ate every meal and that was the best. Cocktails were also fabulous. All this and a wonderful... ambience made for a perfect dinner. We had two waiters and they were attentive and very professional.

We found this place by chance when we stayed close, but what a great place. It is initially a bit confusing because you leave Argentina and find your self in Switzerland! We order the cheese fondue. Fantastic, then a glass of wine... and we were back in Argentina, the wine was crazy good. The service was warm and friendly and I think everything we had ordered would have been brilliant. This place was excellent. We had a really nice dinner. If you drive the 7 lakes, it's worth a dinner here. The price does not break the household either.

We were there for a FONDUE. And it was delicious. The place has a good decoration. Very interesting. It was a great surprise!

We had dinner: the food was wonderful. In the middle of our meal, two families with 9 small children came in. They decided to sit the kids in a separate table. With no one invigilating them (the parents and two older kids, comfortably chatted in...their own table), the screams and plastic glasses flying around, made it impossible to enjoy to the maximum our meal. Some people who were near the kids had to move to other tables. It is really a pity that the people from Waldhaus (who were really educated and correct on addressing us) could not manage this Mc Donald’s moment... It lowered my expectations: this situation made me feel that the other customers were forced to eat in a way that is not up to the level of the restaurant.
