Bidra med feedbackOur holiday in Portugal has been amazing so far despite the awful rain thunderstorms ,spent a night here after a Michelin meal in Rio to celebrate my husbands birthday the atmosphere was so special ,great bar staff and dj,we danced our night away ,unfortunately had to return to Porto where we were staying ,if you want a lively bar with great music friendly staff do visit
Nice and clean space. Simple and good meal, affordable price. Prato do dia meat or fish soup fruits.
Ate here twice this week. Firstly ate lunch as a couple and were impressed enough to return the following day with family. A modern restaurant midway between the old town and the beach. Very nicely decorated. Like all Portuguese restaurants, there is a fixed menu that changes daily and the à la carte. The staff are welcoming and calm. A choice of seafood or meat cooked very well in a tiny kitchen. Nice deserts and good selection of wines are also available. The espada was perfect cooked and the seafood rice was an enormous portion and delicious. The octopus melts in your mouth. Well worth visiting.
This restaurant is to be avoided. It is boring, and not at all characteristic of a restaurant offering a genuine Portuguese cuisine experience. The decor is boring, the staff are boring and untrained and unprofessional, and the food is lousy. I had the worst meal I have had for years there. Surprisingly, some people local people from Vila do Conde, I presume seem to go there. But I have never seen the place full. There are other restaurants in Vila do Conde which are much better than this one so choose one of them.
It was getting late in the evening when we decided to try this restaurant. We were made very welcome. The service was friendly and professional and the food tasty and well presented. Good choice of dishes.
