Estava fechado quando estive lá, mas parece um local adequado para aquela praia

Very disappointed. I remember coming to this restaurant years ago and having great lunches and dinners, but not now. 1) introducer said if we were eating lunch we could sit inside, then took us to a table on the terrace where only one of us had a view, despite window tables being available, side on to the beach. 2 tables on our left, with the comfy seats were smoking which wafted over our food. 2) I ordered Spaghetti with clams which was completely dry with clams overcooked with coriander. You couldn’t taste the clams. 3) My mum ordered lamb chops which were like 1.5 inch wedges, should have been thinner. Lamb was not cooked thoroughly which made the meat too chewy, and tinges of red still showed. Over salted. 4) While I was eating my main course, a waitress reached over my plate to take away my side dish. I still had my knife and fork in my hands! Very unhygienic. 5) The coffee order was wrong because the waitress was too busy looking around rather than listening to us. My mum actually said while she stood there ‘She’s not listening!’. 6) cash only. This is a very lazy Algarvian custom because the restaurants don’t want to pay credit card banking charges. Restaurant staff should be trained. I know it’s the end of season but we are there as customers and should receive a general good level of service. Not be treated like we are an inconvenience interrupting their day. Not impressed.

First stop on our summer 2023 holiday so good to be back!! Never fails to disappoint staff; service and setting just wonderful. Sorry to leave, however, already looking forward to next summer (or before)!! Thanks to all!!

No crédit card !!! too expensive !!! for the quality and the quantities the only bad experience in portugal after 3 weeks
