Bidra med feedbackWe ate here twice, and satisfied both times. It's in the same building as the ticketing office. We were surprised that prices were pretty typical for the Vienna area and not inflated due to the palace location. Seating is limited, but we fortunately found a...table both times. Food quality was good, but not great. Service is also pretty quick.
This cafe in the forecourt of Schonbrunner Palace serves the most wonderful cakes and delicious coffee, all at reasonable prices. When you see the cakes I guarantee that you will be spoilt for choice!! The staff are friendly and efficient and they speak fluent English....The toilets are downstairs and are free!
€5.10 to buy a cappuccino. incredible! served in a cup paper, moreover, and it wasn't even so good. I will never come back
My wife and I recently stopped for a bite at this cafe inside the compound of Schoenbrunn Palace in Vienna. We were served by a waitress named Marina . She was impatient, rude and incompetent. She could not properly answer questions we had on the...menu. We ended up receiving food that we didn’t care for . When she refused to take away my wife’s plate , we called to speak to the manager. Although he was polite , he also refused to take away my wife’s plate. We were disgusted by their attitude and most definitely will not return. It is a big shame that this kind of poor service exists in such a beautiful location.
Vienna offers many fine spots for strudel and coffee, and quite a few better than here, but they don't offer what Schonbrunner Schlosscafe does an opportunity to taste fine strudel (and other pastries) and solid Viennese coffee right where the royals partook them. When...visiting the palace, this is a must unless the crowds keep you away.
