Bidra med feedbackThings I liked: 1 great location Stadtpark is such a beautiful place and it is really surprising that there are so view businesses there. 2 great design of the place and atmosphere. It is also perfect on a hot sunny day as their garden...is entirely under the trees and they have a lot of umbrellas too 3 FOOD : i have had a chance to try a few of their dishes and they were all tasty, thought through and well presented. At first I thought the food was overpriced (because of the location , but when the food arrived I was impressed with the portion size they are very generous and you definitely get your money worth. And it is a great place to dine when you are tired of traditional Austrian/Viennese food 4 SERVICE/STAFF very friendly, fast, speaking both German and English. There was a little hiccup with my first dish and it was taken care of immediately. Three people came to apologise even the boss, i was offered a replacement dish and explanation. I am sharing that experience l because it is a truly rare approach in Vienna and I really appreciate it. 5 NON SMOKING Things that could be improved: 1 Their menu is only in French and German, so if you don't speak either of the languages, you are in a bit of a pickle there. Not so good in such a touristy spot 2 consistency people by our table ordered the same drink and it was prepared and served differently on glass was fuller that the other, with/without a straw 3 they don't seem to communicate enough i overheard them saying that one table for waiting for 30 minutes to either be served/ or get their order All in all I am definitely going back and bringing my friends with me or have a dinner date there :
Came upon this when walking through the park. Obviously liked by the locals which is always a good sign and busy too. Food and drink good and service came with a lovely smile
We are thrilled by the caffe francais in the 9th district, so the joy was great that there is now also a deductor of it in the city park. my birthday was the occasion for the visit and we were looking forward to the evening together with friends.Unfortunately our expectations were not fulfilled. our visit summarized:Very nice location, good eating (very nicely arranged,) badly organized service crew. Here the details:We had to go after the service almost already to order wein.Obviously, the colleague who took up the order was not authorized to do so. Unfortunately he did not tell us this, but also did not forward the order or informed a colleague that we would like to order. After we had abandoned the order at the right time, the bottle was badly cooled. the correct drinking temperature was only reached at the table after some cooling time in ice water. the same more prozeder at the second bottle. water to wine was not brought and it was also not questioned whether we would like one (at 30 degrees) the mineral water we had to order several times and then came 10 min later.Creme brulee would have been dessert request. on the glass wall of the local the court was praised. "Cream brulee doesn't exist, the waiter informed us. "the desserts on the glass wall are still from the event of yesterday." We chose another dessert. this was served flott. unfortunately without cute. We had to order this again. The aim of the service staff was to serve as quickly as possible. that it was not waited until everyone was ready to eat table. Once the cutlery was on an almost empty plate, it was preserved even if you still kept the fork in the hand. :(shade is that a poor overall impression remains, although the kitchen is very good and the foods taste excellent and are also dressed.
The burger was still half raw, the pommes fries cold and the heineken beer unfortunately not cold at all. not worth visiting.
Here is what we have ordered: *draft bier was delicious *bella luna citronade too sour on a limonade, but it is worth trying if they are curious. *mussel delicious and on the salty side, but so much paid for the price. the bad and the pommes were. also delicious. *mezze again, huge portion size. authentic middle eastern/media dishes. great to share. *salad francais a plate the size of a mannes torso. yummy with chicken breast, mango and salat. a great side or even a main course for those who want something light. not sure what the bad reviews are for, because we had a wonderful last night in cafe francais while spent in hown. we sat immediately, went at 8 o'clock and although the restaurant was busy, all waiters were nothing special, but still very friendly and hospitable. will surely try it for an international kitchen!
