This bar and restaurant changed hands about 18 months ago and has changed from a sleepy bar to a god restaurant serving traditional French food offering both meat and fish dishes as well as a good range of desserts and fantastic value set menus. Excellent foie gras. We have eaten both dinner and lunch here and were delighted to find salads on the menu too. The owner was very friendly and accommodating. Relaxed atmosphere in a quiet village. Thoroughly recommend.

Tonight we had to find ourselves a restaurant because we couldn't shop for groceries. So we didn't want fine dining, but we also wanted a good meal on a sunday night. So after some calls (to restaurants that were closed) we ended up with this place. Much to our surprise it was a very good experience. Situated in the centre of town, it is not the most romantic. We sat outside due to the high temperatures. We had to order a menu because of this/a sunday night. No problem. The salad was gooooooood, the meat was goooood, the cheese and desert were goooood..... So what can I say more. Go there if you are in need of a restaurant and let yourself be pleasantly surprised. We will again.
