I must commend the waitress for being friendly and attentive, although slightly pushy due to being busy. However, the overall experience was disappointing. The poor quality of the food and lack of attention to detail did not justify the expensive bill. I am usually not one to write off a restaurant, but I will not be returning to this establishment. I go out to enjoy a good meal and this was far from it.
Are you joking?? 5 pieces of catfish, 2 sides for $10.99?! Oh my goodness, it was delicious! Mashed potatoes and gravy? Absolutely! I was a little disappointed that the bar wasn't open, but still... I will definitely be returning! Food: 5/5
My experience at this restaurant on a Friday night was disappointing. It was busy and we had to wait 20 minutes for a table. The waitress took our order promptly, but asked if we wanted the salad before the meal, which seemed odd to us. After waiting another 20 minutes, we had to remind her about the salad, which she had forgotten. The small sirloin we ordered was of poor quality and the "loaded baked potato" lacked toppings, with only a small amount of cheese in plastic tubs. The lack of environmental consciousness in using the plastic tubs was frustrating. The potato was cold, making it impossible for the butter to melt. The salad had a lot of bacon but none of it was on the potato, which would have improved the dish. Overall, the staff seemed unmotivated and unenthusiastic, lacking in smiles or welcoming gestures.
