This restaurant is currently my favorite Thai restaurants in Perth! For the price, you can’t fault it.Their cashew nut noodle is the winner. It’s one of the best fried flat rice noodle I have ever tried. Don’t forget to ask for spicy if you like spicy food. My second favorite is their chili basil crispy pork.One thing though, you might want to book in advance because the restaurant is small and it gets packed very quickly.

However, Red Basil goes above and beyond what we could ever achieve in our kitchen. <br/ <br/ FOOD<br/ <br/ Truly one of the freshest and best tasting Thai food we have ever had. Our regular orders include the peanut satay, any of the curries, and the spring rolls. If you are a spice and coconut lover, the tom kha soup warrants a special mention, as it is out of this world in flavour. Portion sizes are large enough that you will have leftovers to take home. <br/ <br/ VIBE<br/ <br/ Red Basil is a small, simple Thai kitchen style restaurant that would be easy to look over when walking down the main street of Victoria Park. With simple décor and only a limited number of tables, it is essential to book beforehand. While not a fancy dining experience, the food more than makes up for it. <br/ <br/ SERVICE <br/ <br/ Service is excellent, the staff are quick and friendly. <br/ <br/ CRITIQUE <br/ <br/ The only downside is that the size of the venue makes it feel a bit cramped, other than that, however, there is nothing to critique. <br/ <br/ OVERALL<br/ <br/ If you want simple and delicious Thai food, Red Basil is easily one of the best we have ever been to.
