Bidra med feedbackLa victoria is the place to eat in durango! super shrimp cocktail, arrancha and carne asada! excellent service and a friendly staff and welcoming atmosphere! go!
Went as a tour group so really wasn't expecting much and I'm glad I didn't. My boyfriend and I spend 11 days in mexico and this was legit the best food we had all trip. I wish we took pictures but after all day of...site seeing and seeing how amazing it was and digging in and tasting how amazing it was we didn't have time to take pictures. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a new resturant to try. We had some sort of dessert that was like cheesecake and I still dream about it!!
This is the restaurant our tour from Mazatlan took us to on a day trip to Durango. The meal was preset with some choices including some very local drinks...mine tasted like a cold Ribena tea. The meal was ok...nothing too exciting...but the ambiance was good...and I noted that there were many tables filled with locals....so this is not just a tourist bus destination...the food was served promptly...but we were not rushed....I am not sure I would seek it out...but if you find yourself there I have no doubt you will enjoy it...The space is also very attractive....
On a day tour from Mazatlan the tour company took us to La Victoria for lunch. Everyone in the group received the same meal, which was a combination of three Mexican dishes. The food was quite good, especially the burrito portion, but not really outstanding....The restaurant is quite large and was quite busy serving locals. It is located near the centre of the city along a neat, clean street. The staff appear to be limited in their ability to speak English, but that does not usually cause too much of a problem. Three of our group ordered an espresso, hoping for a strong coffee, but received vanilla ice cream with espresso poured over it. It was very good, but not quite what they expected.
Excelente servicio, muy buena presentación y una explosión de sabor
