Bidra med feedbackHad company in town and decided to go for breakfast. all my usual haunts had mile long line ups. Settled on White Spot (no line up) and got a booth right away. We weren't expecting anything too exciting but we were wrong. there is a new breakfast menu and we both had an avocado queso bowl. mine boggling delicious and more than I could eat although my friend made it through the whole thing. White Spot has now moved to the top of the list for where to go for breakfast. Service was fast and friendly, coffee fresh and good. Carol S.
Slow as fudge service and takes forever to get the bill! In a not so busy place! At least the salad wa good! And they were friendly when they did come around
I lived in Oak Bay for a couple of years and I can honestly say I love this White Spot with it being a small and quaint restaurant in a quiet neighbourhood. The staff are very friendly with the restaurant providing its customers with a nice Caesar salad as well as a great steak and potatoes. The brownie that you can get for dessert is a great option.
Food was okay. Waitress was nice until we were ready to get the bill. Waited 20 minutes for service in an empty restaurant. Not a happy camper. I tipped a loonie out of spite. Waitress was Stephanie.
Not happy. I used the order on line system to order some food for my partner who had his break at 4:30. At 3:30 I ordered the food to pick up at 4:15. When I arrived at 4:10, I let them know I was there as per their system. Looking into the restaurant I could see no customers, 3 waitresses and the cook wondering around. At 4:20 I went in and asked about the food, they looked a little surprised. The waitress went back to check and came out quite a bit later to say it would be coming. Finally 4:30 the food showed up. I was quite annoyed by that point, no apology given, in fact quite the opposite. We consumers have been asked to support restaurants and to try to pick up the food so they make some profit. If you have a system set up for this then please pay attention to it. This is not the first time this has happened, however, it will be the last time.
