James was our server and he was excellent. Our food was wonderful and the service impeccable. I highly recommend this restaurant.

I want to be fair but my experience was not positive. The food was fine. It's old fashioned but the ingredients were good and decently prepared except simple boiled broccolini and carrots on the plate makes it seem like the kitchen isn't really trying. My distress came early when I ordered a Makers Mark Manhattan. It was served in a regulation size martini glass but there couldn't have been even an ounce of liquid present. It filled that three inch tall glass maybe an inch high at the stem. For $16 Canadian? I felt really abused when some obvious regulars ordered Manhattans and were served a pour twice what mine was. While still not San Francisco size, it at least was in the ballpark. Oldest trick in the restaurant business. Screw the tourists; we won't see them again. But they should be ashamed.

Ask for Bob who has been a waiter there for years. He was a professional and brought his great personality to the table side service!

This is an affordable restaurant that provides great food choices at a reasonable price. It is a small size intimate dinner setting with excellent service. We would highly recommend the restaurant for any special occasion or just a nice meal.

Requested a window seat. Got it! Service was impeccable. Food from appetizers to desert was absolutely Fabulous! A little on the expensive side but we had a 3 course dinner including steak and lobster a few bottles of wine and special coffees with Crème Brûlée for desert. Absolutely worth every penny we spent! Great memory to leave with. Highly recommend this place for a special occasion dinner.
