Royal Spice Fine Indian Cuisine

The service was great. Our server was friendly and patient as I had encountered my words a few times. The food. The FOOD! The food was fantastic. We ordered Shahi Paneer, and Lamb Spinach Curry, both were presented via a candle holder to keep the food warm during the meal (love it! . Shahi Paneer has been my steady favorite for years, and Royal Spice made some of the BEST. The Lamb Spinat Curry was also amazing, I had expected to take most home (which usually happens, but it has not so far, it ended up eating the fastest (I could not even get a picture before it was gone. We also ordered Tandoori Chicken, which came out on a skill smoked and sizzling, and it was also really good, I personally was 't a fan of the way the pieces were cut that eat it a bit awkward, but that didn't keep it as delicious as the other dishes. We ordered Stuffed Choley Bhatura to go, and now I have to make sure that I can afford to get that every time it was SO GOOD and that was like a linker! (The sauce was also very cold We ordered an average heat level when we were asked, and I did not find it any spicer than.. Nandos Peri Peri sauce (in fact the Peri peri was probably spicier with a slow heat that was slightly built over time. Most other places on the island avoid adding any spicy flavors if I am more than mild (although it's understandable why, so I am glad that they put in some heat with medium, and now I'm excited to try the higher heat levels next time! PS: Oh, and of course the Chai tea was spectacular:

I love this restaurant. The food tastes amazing. My favorite plate is the Gobhi Garlic. They have amazing possibilities of curry and bread. If you're vegan, go there.

We have dined here twice during our stay in Victoria. It is about 3km from the city centre, but it is worth the ride. Parking is available at the front. It can get quite a lot to do as locals take this place for diving. We ordered various curries with spice stand hot. There was a lunch buffet until 15:00, but we ordered from the menu try different spice levels.

Do not have the ability to find an Indian restaurant as good as Royal Spice in Vancouver! My partner and I come to Victoria a few times a year and we always make a point to get Royal Spice. We usually order delivery, but today we have dined in the restaurant. It was as delicious as ever. Everything came hot, fresh and fast. I could not stop eating the onion bhajia, definitely recommended as a starter. All parts are huge and the prices are great. For less than $40 we eat until we can?t more and we still have a meal for the next day. It wasn't the cleanest restaurant I'm gonna say, but it didn't bother me very much because I know how good the food is here.
