Bidra med feedbackIn victoria, the only place where I will order fish and chips. out there in the juni, heard a lot about this load. on the afternoon there was a break and ordered four. the staff was efficient, but it did not attempt to be friendly or to engage....Go to the command, went home, served them. it was obvious that the fish had been boiled in quite dirty oil, the teig was a dark brown, he burned and the fish was dried out. I would give the food about 5.5/10 and the service around a 5/10. in short, there are many places around victoria that make fish and chips much better.
The best place for a lunch outdoor on a warm sunny april day. the lines are long (local and tourist are coming to lunch), but the service is efficient and friendly. a bit stressful trying to find out where we wanted to sit, but we found one. beautiful seat as soon as we have ordered. the chowder was tasty and so was the wild salmon. so fresh! we were not hungry enough for the fish and chips, but they looked fantastic. we cannot wait to visit victoria again to eat here at lunchtime.
Great fish and chips! we knew of the long waiting queue that this should be good and we were not disappointed it is a fish and chip van on the harbour with external seats around the harbour wall. some covered seating, but we didn't use it... it obviously had to wait, but we'll be worth it
Order the chowder- best.chowder.ever as usual! I could have eaten all week. my partner got a fish sandwich and it was super delicious. I have a tacone and I liked his sandwich better. but the chowder. It's amazing. massive line when we arrived and. as we literally stood for ever. sitting is limited, but people don't seem too long after eating and we could take a seat. would definitely come back.
Came across this place by chance whilst walking along the waterfront. Delicious freshly cooked fish chips. I had Halibut and my wife had Cod and we both really enjoyed our meals. Nice place to sit outside and watch the sunset
