La Fenice - Vicoli

This restaurant was the closest to the house we are staying in, and our houseowner mentioned it, so we went there for a simple pizza dinner. This is exactly what to expect: nothing fancy, good food, family atmosphere, low prices.

I ate here with my family whilst staying at a local holiday rental. The reason that we chose to eat in this restaurant was that it was walking distance from our accommodation. The decor of the restaurant was not fussy, which made the experience very personal and welcoming. The staff made us feel very welcome, and whilst we tried to speak some Italian, they helped us out with the English that they knew. Our order was taken quickly and served at a good pace. The restaurant was very clean, and pizza was cooked in full view. As the only meat eater in my family, I enjoyed a well-cooked fillet of beef. The rest of my family are vegetarians, and there were lots of items colour coded green on the menu to accommodate their dietary preference. The staff were happy to change the menu items to accommodate our requests. The quality of the food was really nice, and the local house wine was great value at €4.50 for a litre. Warsteiner on tap was served ice-cold. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anybody staying local. Take out service is also available for those not wanting to eat in.

We took take him to this place, and we were very satisfied. owner very kind, plentiful and more than good,and very very honest prices. I'm sure I'll be back.

Excellent value quality price. generous and very cheap pasta or pizza! very friendly welcome. restaurant frequented by locals. It doesn't pay a mine, but we recommend it without hesitation. vegetarians welcome!
