Waffle House - Vicksburg

Great food and service. It's what you'd expect from a Waffle House!

It's what it is. Don't expect too much. Funny, this place is right on the Mississippi river but no view of it. Well, you can see the river from the parking lot. But we talked about the experience for 3 days. That much of a memory.Parking: You can see the river from the lot. Getting back on the interstate is super easy.

I had never been to one before, so I wasn't sure what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised by the place. They cooked the eggs, bacon and hash browns to order. It felt like a true old school diner without all the frills. We had been eating complimentary hotel breakfasts, and this was much better than that because it didn't come out of a box, and the potatoes weren't coated with unnecessary wheat flour!

I think the waitress was just very tired! Parking was terrible!!

Stopped in traveling across the country. All the staff were incredibly friendly. Atleast 4 of the staff checked on us, asked how food was, refilled drinks, greated us, and said goodbye. They are the shining light of southern hospitality. Come in for comfort food and smiles.
