Bayou Foods - Vicksburg

She stayed through during the trip as it was near the exit and had a lot of parking. It was Friday night, so there was a 5-8-minute waiting time. After our waitress immediately got our drinks orders. wife had the bowl of chicken and sausage gum; Gravur was fantastic. I had the fried catfish that was greg and was tasty with rice beans (it was okay) and the bread was just delicious and had a few more rolls.

I enjoy eating at Gumbo Pot during my visit to Vicksburg MS. I had the fried shrimps, oysters, catfish and white chocolate bread pudding. Of course I couldn't go the Gumbo pool and not try the Gumbo. It was okay, the taste was different than I used it. Although the shrimp and fish were good, I think the oysters and the white chocolate bread pudding was my favorite. There is a variety on the menu to please all in your group. I'd definitely go back in the area.

Nice place for fresh good food. Friendly server employees and owners. Great tasting homemade food for very affordable price. Much better then fast food in the area. Grits and shrimps and catfish with home-cancer sauce is beautiful. There are daily specialty is just a good choice if you want to eat every day!! Do not forget to taste it white chocolate bread pudding!! You will surely be home for friends and family!!

Amazing food! The darkened catfish with crustfish étouffée was incredible. Such a great sauce. The seafood gumbo was also delicious. We tried the cooked shrimp dinner (comes with potatoes and corn on the cable) and the shrimps were great. We also tried the Shrimp Grits who had a great taste and was super creamy. Many people around us arranged the 4 lbs of cancer and it looked really good. Even the baked beans and the baked potato salad were some of the best I had for a long time. Our server was friendly and helpful. I'm trying to leave a 4-star review because it took us a very long time to get our food, our check and pay our bill, but the food was just so good that it exaggerated the slow service. We would highly recommend this place!

First time eating here and the food was great. The gumbo was seasoned well but the shrimp were a little too done for me and the fried green tomatoes were delicious . First time eating them but I will get me a double order next time.
